Visualize installations inside a wall using on a tablet using ARToolkit
This is a system to help process of buildings maintenance by visualizing installations inside building walls.
Our system uses live stream coming from a VGA camera placed on back side of a tablet. The installations inside the wall are rendered on this footage and are shown on a tablet display.
User can freely move the tablet to see different parts of the installations from desired angles. To avoid collision and make better perception, utility categories like: Pipelines, wires and sensors can be visualized separately. There is a stabilization system that avoids effect that is caused by shaking of the hand, on rendered material.
